Dennis Meyer founded Meyer Partners in 1989 to provide strategic consulting and related services in fund raising and marketing to nonprofit organizations. Today, the agency serves a diverse group of distinguished missions and ministries, and it has been a Corporate member of NCDC for 25 years.
Dennis began his fundraising career as a development officer for his alma mater, Concordia University, Nebraska, starting immediately upon graduation. He then served at two faith-based social service organizations before becoming National Director of Non-Profit Marketing for Epsilon.
Dennis attended his first NCDC conference in Atlanta in 1976 and has been a regular attender since 1981. Dennis is active in professional organizations as a presenter and volunteer, and is a past board member of the DMA’s Nonprofit Federation and past President of the Association of Direct Response Fund-Raising Counsel where he now Chairs the Ethics Committee. He is a charter CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive), and has served as a board member of the Chicago and Miami chapters of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals (AFP). Currently, he is a board member of the Concordia University Nebraska Foundation. He also co-chaired the University’s $63,000,000 capital campaign and was named Alumnus of the Year by his alma mater in 2000.
Dennis enjoys travel, golf and reading and hopes to spoil his 15-month-old grandson in the months and years to come.
